About us

Equitable Instructional Design was born from a desire to address persistent gaps in education. Witnessing the challenges faced by brilliant and capable learners navigating systems not designed for them sparked a mission to dismantle barriers and create inclusive, culturally responsive learning experiences. My goal is to ensure every learner feels seen, valued, and empowered to thrive academically and as a whole person.

Our values

Equitable Instructional Design is driven by core values that shape every learning experience I create. I'm committed to equity, meeting learners where they are and designing instruction that responds to their unique needs. I strive for cultural responsiveness by ensuring that content reflects and honors diverse identities, and believe in empowering students through learner agency, enabling them to take ownership of their learning. I'm dedicated to accessibility and inclusion through Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and foster community and belonging in collaborative environments. Ultimately, we embrace reflection and iteration to continuously evolve and improve.
